Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means that you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

Because of the nature of the Lancia parts we sell, many of which are unusual, old, rare or difficult to identify without seeing the car, we will assess returns individually and may agree to accept items outside the 30-day period where it is reasonable to do so.

Our 30-day policy is in addition to any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

Returns

For returns under our voluntary 30-day policy, items should be unused, unfitted and in substantially the same condition as supplied, and should include the original packaging where reasonably possible. You will also need a receipt or other proof of purchase.

Please contact us at sales@omicron.uk.com before returning anything. Once the return has been agreed, you can send the goods back to us and we will process the return when they arrive.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first. This is particularly important with unusual or valuable parts, as we need to know what is coming back and why.

You can contact us at sales@omicron.uk.com with any questions about a return.

Statutory cancellation rights

If you are a consumer buying at a distance — for example through our online shop, by telephone or by email — you may have a statutory right to cancel your order without giving a reason.

Where UK statutory cancellation rights apply, you normally have 14 days after receiving the goods to tell us that you wish to cancel. You then normally have a further 14 days in which to return them.

Where a statutory right of cancellation applies, we will refund the amount required by law, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method where applicable. If you selected a more expensive or expedited delivery service, the additional cost does not normally form part of the required refund.

Unless goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, you are normally responsible for the cost of returning them to us.

You may inspect goods in the same way that you reasonably could in a shop. If goods have been fitted, used, damaged or otherwise handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where the law allows us to do so.

Nothing in this policy restricts any statutory rights that apply to your purchase.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item is damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

If there is a problem for which we are responsible, we will investigate it and put matters right. Depending on the circumstances, this may mean a repair, replacement or refund.

If a parcel appears to have suffered significant damage in transit, please photograph the package before opening it if possible. Photographs of the packaging and contents can be very useful when we need to make a claim against a carrier.

Special-order, bespoke and cut-to-length items

Some of the parts and materials we supply are made, modified, ordered or prepared specifically for an individual customer. Others, such as hoses, rubber extrusions and trim materials, may be cut to a requested length.

Our voluntary 30-day return policy does not normally apply to bespoke or specially prepared goods, special-order items which cannot reasonably be returned to stock, or materials cut to a customer's requested specification.

Statutory cancellation rights may also be excluded for goods which are genuinely made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

If you are unsure whether an item can be returned, please ask us.

Incorrectly ordered parts

We are always happy to help identify the correct part before you order, particularly where different versions were fitted during a model's production.

If we correctly supply the item ordered but it turns out not to be the part you require, you can return it in accordance with your statutory rights where those rights apply.

For returns accepted under our voluntary returns policy outside any applicable statutory cancellation period, we reserve the right to deduct a 10% handling and restocking charge where the correct item was supplied but was ordered in error.

Return carriage is normally the customer's responsibility in these circumstances.

Exchanges

If you need a different item, it is normally simplest to return the original item and place a separate order for the replacement.

Please contact us if you are unsure what you need. We would much rather spend a little time trying to identify the right part than send the wrong one around the world twice.

Refused and uncollected deliveries

If a parcel is returned to us because delivery was refused or it was not collected, we will inspect the goods when they arrive back with us and deal with any refund in accordance with this policy.

If you refuse a parcel because it is visibly damaged, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can investigate the damage with the carrier.

For international orders, import VAT, customs duty, clearance fees and local handling charges may be payable by the recipient. These are explained further in our Shipping Policy.

If an international delivery is refused or not collected solely because the recipient does not wish to pay applicable import VAT, customs duty, clearance fees or other local import charges, we will normally refund the value of the returned goods once they are safely back with us, but we will not normally refund carriage or other shipping costs that we have incurred, except where applicable consumer law requires us to do so.

Any additional return-to-sender charge made to us by the postal service or courier may also be deducted where legally permitted.

Refunds

We will let you know when we have received and inspected your return and confirm the refund due.

Approved refunds will normally be made using the original payment method. Banks, card providers and payment services may take additional time to process the refund after we have issued it.

Where permitted, we may wait until we have received the returned goods, or satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back, before issuing the refund.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer rights which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
