Aurelia alternator conversion kit

There are several ways of upgrading an Aurelia's charging system to an alternator.    Some use an alternator disguised as a dynamo, although we have found that these can suffer from overheating due to the proximity of the exhausts.

This option is our preferred option if you are less concerned over cosmetic appearance (although once installed its hard to see).  It retains the eccentric tensioning system used by Lancia. 

An appropriate v-belt is included.

This alternator is rated at 50 amps which is over double the rated output of the original dynamo.

The alternator is internally regulated, so a small wiring modification to bypass the existing regulator has to be done, although some people leave the old regulator in place for appearances, and if they need to re-fit the original dynamo for any reason.

This should suit all versions of the Aurelia, including the B20 and B24 versions.
