A history of the Fiat / Lancia twin cam engine, designed by Aurelio Lampredi, and one of the most successful car engines ever.

With production spanning 35 years, the car enjoyed much success on the competition stage winning 10 World Rally Championships with Lancia and Fiat, the World Sportscar Championship twice with Lancia (Group 5 : World Championship for Makes), multiple Formula 3 championships and Touring Car Championships with the Alfa 155 GTA Superturismo.
