The Flaminia bonnet catch uses a small zinc alloy casting for the casing of the bonnet catches. The internals do not seem to give trouble, but the casing has a tendency to crumble or crack as the material ages.
Omicron has made reproduction casings from aluminium and you can refit your existing internals into a new case. The design is the same as the original so it will look correct once fitted and will perform exactly as Lancia intended.
We also understand that the Innocenti C Coupe also uses this catch, as well as possibly other coach built Italian cars.
