Carb Mounts

Rubber/metal carburettor mount that damps vibrations and reduces heat transfer from engine to the carburettors. These do fail over time, but a very common cause of failure is a missing support strap between airbox and oil filter base. Check that this is present, tightened up, and that the bushes in it haven't failed.

Also requires gaskets:

• Carb to carb mount, 2 off
• Carb mount to inlet manifold, 2 off

Note that the carburettor overhaul kits contain carb to carb mount gaskets.
