Fulvia 1298cc (1300) piston rings

Piston rings for Lancia Fulvia 1298cc (1.3) engines.

Factory pistons have piston rings that measure 1.5, 2.0 and 4.0mm thick.   Aftermarket pistons are under no obligation to keep those sizes and may opt to use their own ring packs.

Standard bore size was 77.0mm with factory oversizes were at 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6mm increments, although there are larger aftermarket sizes - eg 0.8 and 1.0mm.    We have also seen intermediate sizes eg 77.25 and 77.50mm from some piston manufacturers.

Fitting Notes: Unless a piston ring compressor is specifically modified for use on a narrow angle V-engines, we would recommend using fingers to insert pistons, as a normal ring compressor can result in broken rings, and we are not always able to supply an individual ring.
