The Montecarlo windscreen was bonded in, but the 037 used a slightly smaller screen with a windscreen rubber. 

One possible reason was that during a rally, fitting a screen with a seal is a relatively quick procedure, whereas with a bonded screen, the adhesive requires time to cure properly - time that may not be available before the next stage starts.

A second reason is that in an emergency, a screen on a rubber can be kicked out more easily than a bonded screen, either as a means to escape from the car, or simply for the rally drivers to be able to see where they are going.
