Steering idler box bushes

Fulvia S1 and Flavia have bronze bushes which hardly ever give any problems. Later cars have plastic bushes that do wear out and need replacing. 

Two bushes and one thrust bearing required per idler box. S2 plastic bushes have 'built-in' thrust washer.

The plastic bushes need sizing to suit your shaft and your housing - as supplied they will be too tight. They can be lightly reamed (on the inside diameter) once fitted, or more usually carefully reduce the outside diameter until the correct ID is acheived upon fitting.
